Apart from her work in the Netherlands, Gerry has also participated in international meetings and conferences. People from all continents are impressed by Gerry. She knows how to connect people from completely different backgrounds. These people are interested in Gerry as well. Gerry has, in fact, received invitations to inspire people from all around the globe.
An 'inspiratrice' who connects content and atmosphere
Gerry is a modern but also down-to-earth Dutch woman who embraces the here and now. She is a lot of things. She is a professional businesswoman, a politician, a strategic policy worker, a lobbyist, a volunteer, a former housewife and certainly a people's person. Gerry personifies upward mobility. And having made it, of course it is important to be a member of various committees and charities. A real self-made woman! For a couple of years now, she has made it her mission to inspire people, organisations, companies, societies and individuals. Gerry makes her rich personality and experience available for professional meetings such as (international) conferences and events. She develops and leads workshops and stimulates processes of change. Every now and then she performs in the theatre.
She has an antenna for atmosphere and knows how to weave this in with the content and goals of a meeting. Gerry creates an open and supportive environment, which encourages and inspires people to open up and exchange ideas.
Examples of Gerry's work to date
Gerry was one of the facilitators and speakers at an international conference about corporate social responsibility and making production chains more sustainable. Gerry was also a moderator at a two-day conference and fair about exchanging knowledge between farmers. Gerry worked with people from FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), IFAP (International Federation of Agricultural Producers), the IFAP Committee of Women Farmers and many more representatives from all over the world.

Gerry supports organisational change. For two years she has worked with a large organisation who provides care to disabled people. This organisation has reshuffled its management structure. Also the employees and disabled people have to move towards greater responsibility and self-organisation.
Gerry is also involved in the process of change with regard to secondary education and practical training. These schools and institutes want to provide students with an intensive preparation for working in practice. A new curriculum will gradually be introduced, which will have more of an emphasis on the practice and on the required competencies for that.
Gerry was asked to provide stimulating comments to a city council, mayor and a college of aldermen. On various other occasions Gerry has been chair-woman, hostess and moderator.
Gerry's work is tailor-made
Gerry likes tailor-made work. She has a lot of experience in designing tailor-made contributions. During the preparation, both the organisers and Gerry's creativity, are used to come up with original, clever and adequate ideas. Gerry has a range of talents. She is creative, becomes expert in a new topic very quickly, has a feeling for current topics and has a sense of humour, is a good writer and speaker. She can also sing and compose songs, she is in your face, but knows how to deal with sensitive issues. And...she is a good listener, which makes her nationally as well as internationally unique in this day and age.
Gerry has access to a network
During the elaboration of an idea Gerry has, when needed, access to an extensive network of musicians, consultants, trainers, actors, designers, publishers, printers and comedians. To elaborate on a good idea Gerry will not take 'no' for an answer!

Gerry is a creation of Stephan Steverink. He is a projectleader/consultant. He is also an artist and musician with the artist name 'S.T. Nelles'. Over and over again he models Gerry with our times, but her essence remains timeless: an 'inspiratrice'. Gerry's presence is always taken for granted, which already has caused some unique moments in the past years.
